In 2018, our founders saw a problem: sporting organisations were being held back by outdated systems, manual admin, and disconnected processes. Clubs, associations, and national bodies were wasting time on tasks that should be automated — and missing opportunities to grow.
So, we built the solution we wished existed.
Assemble Sports began by designing purpose-built platforms for some of Australia’s most complex sporting codes. These early partnerships helped us shape a powerful, scalable suite of products that now supports every level of sport — from grassroots to elite, from team to individual codes.
Assemble is led by David Silverton and Luke Gooden — two senior executives with deep roots in sport, media, and digital innovation.
Before founding Assemble, David and Luke drove major transformation projects at the National Rugby League (NRL), delivering initiatives in CRM, live stats, player tracking, remote officiating, and scheduling optimisation. Their work helped set new benchmarks in how elite sport leverages technology for performance, integrity, and fan experience.
Now, they bring that same strategic thinking to every level of sport.
